šTaichung Ramen Tour: Three recommended specialties, explore different soups and flavors!
Today we are going to share three of our favorite shops. Without further ado, letās get down to business!
The first one is "Chicken Salt Ramen Jiji". If you love ramen, "Chicken Salt Ramen Jiji" located in the East District of Taichung City is definitely a food place you can't miss! This store is famous for its rich and refreshing chicken salt soup and special buckwheat ramen, which makes many customers linger.
šFour major features of the restaurant:
ā¶Soup: Chicken salt soup is made from boiled concentrated chicken bone soup, seasoned with light salt, bringing a rich and refreshing flavor, which is the soul of this store.
ā· Noodles: The noodles are made of buckwheat ramen, which is not only chewy but also fragrant and can absorb the soup perfectly.
āøAdditional services: Every customer can enjoy one free soup or noodle service, which is a very considerate design for big eaters.
ā¹Self-service ordering machine: There is a self-service ordering machine in the store, which is convenient and fast, allowing customers to complete the ordering process quickly.
Recommended dishes: In addition to the signature chicken salt ramen, the char siu, soft-boiled eggs and other ingredients here are all carefully made, forming a perfect match with the ramen. In particular, the char siu has a tender texture and a moderate salty flavor, which makes the whole bowl of ramen more rich.

The second store is "Niu'an"! It is a popular ramen shop located in Xitun District, Taichung. It attracts many ramen lovers with its thick beef bone soup and rich and innovative flavor design. The store offers a variety of choices, from the signature "beef bone white soup ramen" to limited creative flavors, all of which are amazing.
I recommend its signature beef bone white soup ramen the most! This signature ramen uses beef bone soup and is paired with a variety of vegetables. The flavor is rich but not greasy. Adding lemon slices can bring out a fresh taste and add a sense of layering. The hardness of the noodles, the saltiness and spiciness of the soup can be adjusted by yourself, which is very considerate! Each bowl of ramen also comes with pickled tomatoes and soft-boiled eggs to enhance the overall flavor.
In addition to the classic version, Niu An also launches seasonal innovative ramen, such as "Mousse Salmon White Soup", which adds cream mousse to add a rich milky flavor, paired with smoked salmon and salmon roe, making every bite full of surprises!
Niu An's decoration is simple and comfortable, with marble tabletops and bright lights. It provides about 14 bar seats. There are hooks and hangers on the wall for everyone to store their belongings.
Dining Tips! Because Niu An is so popular, it is recommended to avoid the peak dining hours. 3-4 pm is a better choice, or you can make a reservation before dining on weekdays to avoid waiting too long!

The last one is "Takiho Noodle Shop". If you like noodles, you must not miss "Takiho Noodle Shop" in Taichung! This noodle shop insists on hand-made noodles. Each noodle is carefully kneaded by the chef, full of elasticity, and tastes full of toughness and taste. Whether it is soup noodles or dry noodles, the noodles here will make you keep eating one bite after another.
In addition to noodles, the soup is also a highlight of this restaurant. Their soup base is very flavorful. The classic pork bone soup is rich and smooth. One sip will make you feel super satisfied. If you want to try a new flavor, the innovative soy sauce soup base is also very good, with a moderate salty flavor, and it is really a must-try with handmade noodles. Each bowl of noodles is also paired with fresh ingredients, such as tender barbecued pork, seafood, crispy vegetables, etc. Each bite has a different layer of feeling, which is guaranteed to make you want to stop.
The environment inside the store is also great, simple and comfortable, making people feel relaxed as soon as they enter. Whether you are gathering with friends or enjoying food by yourself, it is very suitable. And the service attitude is also very good. The staff always greets every customer with a smile, which makes people feel very friendly.
Takiho Noodles is more than just a bowl of noodles. It offers a unique experience that combines handmade craftsmanship with innovative flavors. Whether it is the classic pork bone soup or the novel soy sauce soup, paired with every chewy noodle, every bowl of noodles here is a satisfying experience. It is definitely a good place not to be missed when you come to Taichung!
